Created on August 10th, 2021, this piece was inspired by the #Smaugust2021 prompt of a Dragon "Hoard". The painting features a dragon shining a light upon his massive accumulation of incredible objects. This original creation by Katy Lipscomb is a one-of-a-kind item that is only available here: directly from the artist.

The piece is 9 inches by 12 inches on a Fabriano Hot-Press watercolor board. The artwork was made using richly pigmented watercolors, alcohol-based markers, and vibrant colored pencils. This piece has been framed with a black matte.

Each original drawing that we produce is a unique, one-of-a-kind creation that comes signed with a Certificate of Authenticity. Originals are shipped in a Rigid Mailer with a flat backing board inside a sealed poly bag.
